Tuition Policy


TUITION AND FEES SCHEDULE
2008-2009

Fees

Registration Fee                   $150.00
General Fee                         $150.00
Technology Fee                    $150.00

The Registration, General & Computer Fees must be paid in full by August 1st.
These fees cannot be combined with the annual tuition.

Fundraising $300 / $500

Families wishing not to participate in the school fundraising programs may pay $300 before November 1st. If non-participating families do not pay by November 1st, they are automatically placed into the Participating category.  Families participating in the fundraising programs are asked to contribute $500 in fundraising revenue. Families choosing to fundraise, but fail to raise $500 in revenue are required to pay the difference by June 1st.

Volunteer Hours – Required 5 hours per family

All parents are asked to volunteer 5 hours to the school during the course of the school year. Parents unable to donate their time will be assessed $10 per hour, equaling $50.00. Families wishing not to volunteer may pay $50 before June 1st.

All fees are non-refundable

After School Program – Monthly $150.00 per child

KINDERGARTEN TO GRADE 8

Parishioner status is determined by the Pastor of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church

Tuition – Non-Parishioner $3,200.00

Tuition – Each additional child in
Kindergarten to Grade 8 $2,000.00

PRE KINDERGARTEN 3 & PRE KINDERGARTEN 4

Tuition –
Pre Kindergarten 3 $4,000.00

Tuition –
Pre Kindergarten 4 $3,500.00



TUITION POLICY

Delinquent Tuition and School Fees

  • Tuition payments are due in accordance with the family’s tuition agreement - a late fee of $50.00 will be billed for payments not made on time.

  • A failed electronic payment due to insufficient funds will be assessed a fee of $50.00 in addition to the late fee and the payment.

  • A failed payment due to a bounced check will be assessed a fee of $50.00 in addition to the late fee and the payment.

  • Once a family has received a bounced check fee, the school will no longer accept checks from them and the family will be required to pay with a money order.

  • For delinquent tuition payments: bank check, money order or electronic payment is required - no personal checks. All delinquent payments must be made at the school.

  • Delinquent tuition will result in immediate suspension. The student will not be accepted back into school until the delinquent tuition and fees are paid in full with a money order.

  • Once an account has become past due following a delinquency, the student will be suspended and will not be accepted back into school until the past due tuition and fees are paid in full with a money order.

  • Accounts with $100.00 in late fees can result in immediate suspension. The student will not be accepted back into school until the delinquent account is paid in full with a money order.

  • There will be no admittance to mid-term or final exams if there is an outstanding tuition and/or fee balance.

  • School documentation (i.e. report cards, transcripts, diploma, etc.) will not be issued until all delinquent tuition and fees have been paid.

  • Graduation candidates will not be permitted to attend or participate in graduation traditions (e.g. graduation ceremonies).

Late Registrants

  • All fees are payable at the time of registration.

  • Students beginning school at any time in the second semester will be required to pay half of the general and computer fees.

  • The tuition is pro-rated according to the number of months remaining in the school year.

Students Leaving During the School Year

  • If applicable, a tuition rebate will be given for the months paid and for which a student will not be attending classes.

  • A full month’s tuition will be required for a student attending classes during any part of the month.

Previous Years’ Delinquent Tuition/Fees

  • Students with delinquent tuition or fees from a previous year will not be allowed to re-register or re-enter the school in September.

Parishioner Status

  • Parishioner status is determined by the Pastor of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church

  • In order for a family to qualify for the parishioner’s tuition rate, parents must contribute in each Sunday envelope.

  • Families who have not been attending Mass and who have not contributed each Sunday will no longer be eligible for the parishioner rate and will be assigned a new tuition rate for non-participating families.
