We welcome Sister Helene Cooke, IHM as the Assistant Principal of Sacred Heart of Jesus School. She is a member of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (IHM) based in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Sister comes to us with much experience in both teaching and school leadership which spands the past three decades in the Archdioceses of Philadelphia and New York.
Sister Helene’s position is made possible through funding from The Curran Principal Academy. The Curran Principal Academy was established in 2008 to prepare excellent classroom teachers to transition to inner-city elementary school administration. The TCPA offers aspiring principals the opportunity to be mentored by an experienced principal by a developing the key qualities to qualify for placement as principals of Catholic elementary schools.
