MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of Sacred Heart of Jesus School is to provide the highest quality academic and spiritual education, rooted in the ideals of the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, the values of the Roman Catholic Church and the traditions of Blessed Edmund Rice. We provide a Catholic education in which students learn, appreciate, and live the Gospel message in order to serve God and others through prayer, service and stewardship. We strive for academic excellence, the development of the life-long learner, the growth of a healthy mind, body and spirit, fostered within an atmosphere of respect, caring, and personal responsibility.

MISSION & AIM OF CATHOLIC EDUCATION IN THE ARCHDIOCESE OF NEW YORK
Since 1800, Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of New York have served an ethnically and economically diverse student population in urban and suburban settings.
